The 27th Annual Hospice Benefit Ball & Silent Auction
Once again the Hospice Ball Committee is honored to bring the 27th
Annual Hospice Benefit Ball and Auction to Western Montana.
Each year as we are out asking for donations and selling tables, we
are truly grateful, the support of the ball from this community is
overwhelming. We not with gratitude the commitment shown here tonight.
Many businesses and individuals have generously donated items, money,
services, ideas and countless hours preparing for this signature event.
The proceeds of the ball benefit the Hospice Care Foundation. The
Foundation has assisted in covering end-of-life care for those who did
not have insurance or private funding. The Foundation is moving forward
with strategic planning, watch for some long awaited announcements to be
unveiled soon.

The Tom Cats
This four piece band is a Western Montana favorite. These guys will
have the place rockin' with their awesome sound and great antics. The
Tom Cats play memorable tunes from the Rock and Roll Era and have been
pleasing crowds from young to old for several years. The Tom Cats are
seasoned rockers, playing in bands such as The Bop-a-Dips, The Talk,
Blackjack and Kid Wicked. We have had the honor and pleasure of having
these guys play at the Ball for the past three years. The crowd loves
them!

From humble beginnings, ShōDown has
matured into a band with a diverse play list and a style that is akin to
putting a whole bunch of things in the blender, and ending up with
something that tastes real good. Their roots reach into bluegrass,
western swing, traditional country, contemporary country, 70's and 80's
rock and roll, Cajun and folk music. Wow, makes your head kind of spin
doesn't it. But somehow it all works into a sound that is unique
and pleasing. Vocals are the heart of their music. We are thrilled to
have ShōDown joining us at the Ball tonight.

The Sentinel High School Jazz Band is a big band, specializing in
the performance of classic, standard tunes from the 40's for your
dancing and listening pleasure. We know you will enjoy an early eve of
wonderfully played songs by a group of very talented and sharing student
musicians. They have been entertaining capacity crowds since the
inception of Missoula First Night!
